Is Salerno’s Alfredo Sauce Gluten Free?

Yes – Salerno’s Alfredo sauce is a gluten-free pasta sauce. In the States, an Alfredo sauce recipe is typically made with a base of heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and butter. It’s not a sauce in Italy, but butter and parmesan cheese alone. We eventually added heavy cream to create a smooth, thick sauce.
